"You (The Kabine) and about 10 others helped me get thru covid." Tricia

UPATE The Kabine is back to Slow + Mask.
Masks are required for all and one bubble at a time inside A Tiny Shiny Shop™. On no rain days the pop up window will be open and I am happy to greet you there when others are inside or if that makes you more comfortable.
Now that the weather is getting cooler we are able to open all the windows and turn the ceiling fans on to pull air out of A Tiny Shiny Shop. In preparation for the winter we purchased an air purifier, combined with the vaccine I feel safe at The Kabine, I hope you do to!
Welcome to the Kabine! (pronounced kah-been-uh)
We are Kim Hayes and Americone Dream, aka Meri, proprietresses of A Tiny Shiny Shop ™.
The shops just happen to be located in Airstreams. Why an Airstream? I fell in love with its design, that it is made for travel and the freedom it inspires.
The Kabine One, 1965 Safari
Purchased in 2004. There were a lot of bumps on the road that slowed our dream, but it only made the vision stronger.
The Kabine Too, 2004 Safari
In December 2019 we found the perfect Airstream to move forward and opened the doors in August 2020.
We hit the road in 2016 and now we have a residency in Tower Grove, St. Louis.
When you step inside you will discover Slow Stationery + Travel Goods
Why stationery? I love the tradition of sending postcards when on the road. I, also, loved going to the local stationery shop and 5 & 10 stores as a child. From those treasured moments The Kabine was born to offer you goods that assist in unplugging more, to connect in meaningful ways and are ready for travel.
All our stationery and travel goods are thoughtfully curated and based on our motto -
Find inspiration in travel, relationships, music, laughter and tenacity.
Goods are from Japan, Germany, vintage finds, goods discovered on our travels and items created in the Kabine Studio. Many goods are unique to The Kabine.
We invite you to explore The Kabine a.k.a. The Tiny Shiny Shop™. Nothing beats the real thing!
Thank you for supporting Tiny.

“There is a lot of slow space, but not wasted space." Mr. Rogers.
All our offerings consider the impact they have or will have on the environment.
We like to say The Kabine is our happy place. Inspiration flows in the Airstream and we take that opportunity by using the space to design and create some of our goods.
The Kabine celebrates life on the road and curiosity.
Whether you travel near, far or in your mind it is all good.
Found something on the road in the Kabine but not online? Let us know and we are happy to make a special listing for you.
Need a gift, a treat for yourself or not sure, just ask. We would love to help.
We are happy to gift wrap any Kabine Good or assist in picking out the perfect gift. Please send us a note telling us what you would like wrapped and a little about the recipient.
Our wrapping is inspired by Japanese packaging. We use reusable or recyclable items to prepare a simple beautiful presentation.
The Kabine strives to offer goods and experiences with high value. What is high value?
To us it means the following:
